This site is owned and operated by Santa Barbara Women’s Self-Defense L.L.C. Your privacy on the Internet is of the utmost importance to us. We want to make your experience online satisfying and safe. Because we gather information from our visitors to the site, we feel you should fully understand our policy and the terms and conditions surrounding the use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.

INFORMATION SUBMISSION AND TRACKS
We collect two types of information from users: · Registration Information that you provide is an optional and voluntary submission. · Aggregated tracking information derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our sites is anonymous and passive.

USE OF INFORMATION PROVIDED
Under no circumstances does Santa Barbara Women’s Self-Defense divulge any information about any individual to a third party including our partners.

Registration Information is used to provide service to you. Contact information will only be used within the time of your participation in the program. Optional email publication provides electronic newsletters, information on upcoming events, and requests for feedback about the programs. This service can be started or stopped at your discretion.

Aggregate Page viewing allows us to better tailor our content to our visitors.

We offer a free electronic newsletter to those visitors that voluntarily request this information. Recipients may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every newsletter.


Event flyers may be emailed to those visitors that voluntarily requested information through email.  Recipients ay remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every flyer.  We may request feedback about the program from participants so they can easily share their opinions.  We never distribute any of this information to any third party or partner.

Consistent with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.

COOKIES
We do not use text files called “cookies” of your computer.

SECURITY
Credit card information is transmitted on a secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems provided by Authorize Net. Our internal security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our customers.
